Overall responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining the implementation, security, network and applications of all the IT systems, software and equipment, including implementation. Provide high quality technology solutions, build or construct applications, systems, platforms and address business needs within a mature technology environment.

Essential Duties

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
  • Overall planning, organization, implementation and day-to-day functions of the IT department
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and reporting
  • Monitor and maintain network operations including routers & server maintenance and support
  • Documentation of new program development and creating operational instructions
  • Manages projects with lots of moving parts through multiple revision
  • Maintaining Windows work stations throughout organization including software and hardware installations.
  • Provide staff with network and software user education, where needed.
  • Maintain, archiving, and safekeeping of computer records and reports.
  • Assist with the review of computer hardware/software needs and the implementation of approved new applications.
  • Encodes project requirements by converting work flow information into computer language.
  • Build programs required to extract, transform, clean and move data and metadata to be loaded into a data warehouse, data mart, or operational data store.
  • Promoting effective and efficient utilization of IT resources.
  • Constantly stays up-to-date on the latest software trends, new technologies, and best practices for conversion, testing and analysis.


  • Perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

  • Accomplishes all assigned projects in an effective and professional manner, keeps management informed of all problematic areas.

  • Provides friendly, professional and accurate service and support to all members and associates.

  • Completes performance reviews within the prescribed time frame.

  • Hires, directs and motivates a highly qualified staff sufficient to meet the daily operational needs of the department.

  • Must be able to communicate with all levels and departments to identify and define best practices for more efficient work solutions.

    Education/Experience

  • Five years to ten years of similar or related experience.

  • Strong SQL knowledge

  • Jasper Reports Server and Jasper Soft Reports

  • API Interface

  • Must be able to communicate within all departments

  • Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills

  • College degree preferred
