Positions in this function include more traditional administrative/clerical support roles including: answering the telephone, typing/word processing of documents, maintaining calendars and setting up meetings, making travel arrangements, copying, faxing, greeting visitors, setting up files, tracking expenses, and coordinating building and equipment maintenance. At senior levels, function may include supervision of other clerical/administrative staff.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Moderate work experience within own function.
  • Some work is completed without established procedures.
  • Basic tasks are completed without review by others.
  • Supervision/guidance is required for higher level tasks.
Position will be supporting all aspects of the Network Operations and Provider Relations team in NYC.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 2+ years previous experience working in an Administrative Assistant role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word to create and edit business documentation, correspondence, meeting agendas and minutes. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel updating and creating new spreadsheets, sorting, adding and filter data 
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint to create presentation and modify existing presentation with updated data
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook for e-mail management, calendar management, and archive folders 
  • Prior experience working as an Administrative Assistant for Managed Care Contracts
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's Degree. 
  • Microsoft Office certifications. 
  • Experience with expense management using Concur
