Estimator - Full-time / Part-time

Reporting to the Vice President, the Estimator will be responsible for various aspects of each estimate for bridges, falsework, marine construction, piers, bulkhead work, etc.
Performing quantity surveys on various bid teams as required and check pay quantities on unit price items with Heavy Bid Estimating System/HCSS
Coordinate with potential material suppliers and secure pricing on all subcontract items and enter pricing into bid
Coordinate with potential subcontractors and enter pricing into bid
Prepare and send out solicitations to minority business concerns and provide assistance if necessary
Assist in the planning, scheduling, and pricing of the bid
Attend pre-bid conferences as required
Assist in the preparation of any technical proposals required by design/build projects, private/public partnerships, or best value projects
