Company Description: Our client is an automotive OEM that has been in the state of Alabama since 2001 and has enjoyed great success and growth during that time.

Requirements: The primary responsibility for this position will revolve around performing line side support to the manufacturing equipment used on the assembly line. This includes both preventative maintenance as well as break down maintenance. This is a highly automated facility, so some experience with PLC's and Robotics is required. Here are a few more additional qualifications:

  • An Associate's Degree is preferred, though relevant experience is also considered
  • Experience troubleshooting with Allen Bradley PLC's
  • Ability to teach and reteach robotics, preferably with Fanuc and Motoman robotics
  • Thorough knowledge of how servo motors and controls function
  • Experience writing up maintenance reports and completing task lists

Assignment Details:

  • 12 month contract to hire, though the client has the option to hire candidates after 6 months if they choose
  • Competitive salary with Overtime paid after 40 hours as well as Double Time on Sundays or Holidays
