A successful Device Marketing Manager will have the following: 

  • 5-7 years demonstrated experience on either the partner or licensor side managing marketing initiatives for well-known CPG brands in the entertainment, programming, or video game space.
  • Ability to understand and articulate the technical aspects of our app placement in sync with operations partners.
  • Foster deep collaboration with marketing and operations teams on the device side.  Prepare quarterly marketing/operations summaries to present to CMO and Business Development heads.
  • Confer with sr. device partnership head to optimize marketing opportunities beyond the “expected” placements.
  • Lead weekly meetings to review tactics and brainstorm new ideas.  Provide weekly summary reports to device partner.
  • Partner with internal data team to assess performance by marketing tactic and report in turn.

Organized, proactive, collaborative Device Marketing Manager needed to set marketing strategy with key device partners and foster device partner relationships driving first-in-class partner marketing, hitting subscriber goals. 

 

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Develop marketing plans to drive subscribers through device partner channels including:  Retail presence, on-pack/in-pack placement, web placement, device placement, partner email/newsletter, video creative, social. 
  • Partner with internal operations manager to ensure all app placements are updated. 
  • Coordinate with data team to ensure all touch points are tracked.
  • Confer with sr. device partnership head to optimize marketing opportunities beyond the “expected” placements.
