About this job


This position is responsible for the coordination and integrity of the event content development processes via the organization systems. The Content Administrator will serve as the primary interface for program and technical contributors (i.e. authors, presenters, moderators, speakers, reviewers, session organizers, committees, etc.). The person will also ensure all proper publishing guidelines and processes are met.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the event content development processes

Capture of the event content (i.e. multimedia collection, manuscript, video, presentation, internal presentation, biography collection, event guide, website, etc.)

Train contributors (i.e. volunteers, third party users, sections, etc.)

Support other internal business operations (i.e. taxonomy, journal selection, etc.)

Maintain data integrity and provide support for assigned committees and projects

Establish and maintain accuracy of data in the content systems

Proactively ensure all stakeholders are informed of any revisions, deadlines, etc.

Contribute to the achievement of organizational goals

Additional projects as assigned

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum of 5 years administrative experience working in a professional fast-paced environment SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, work within established timelines and schedules and meet deadlines Strong computer, data and analytical skills Strong organizational skills Good interpersonal and teaming skills Ability to work with and manage global industry volunteers, members and staff Ability to travel 25% of the time (both international and domestic)
