Aerotek Construction is looking for an Assistant Project Manager for our client, one of the most well-known Elevator specialty contractors in the country. The successful candidate will be working as an Assistant Project manager working with all levels of management; VP, PM, other PM's to ensure project deliverables are met. The position holds the potential for a promotion to Project Manager within 1-2 years.
Assistant Project Manager Work Breakdown:
75%- working with Sr project manager on scheduling, budget, document/cost control, change orders, RFI submittals/Reviews
25%-working directly with client needs. Their projects are continuously changing so it is imperative for the APM to be a consultant with their client and know what is in their best interest.
The Successful candidate for Assistant Project Manager will have:
-6+ years of experience in construction in a Project Engineer, APM or PM role, preferably either working for an elevator contractor or a General Contractor
-Understanding of the Submittal and RFI process
-Commercial Construction expeirence
-Excellent Communication skills and ability to interface with clients
