The Process & Manufacturing Technician / Engineer will be responsible for improving the productivity and efficiency of our manufacturing operations in conjunction with the Production, Quality,
& Maintenance workgroups at our facility, and also in coordination with the Technical Department at our Group Headquarters in France. Candidate must be a self starter. This position requires a person that is a self-starter, can work unsupervised, and has the ability analyze and solve mechanical problems. Must be a hands-on individual that enjoys working on the shop floor with production and management on problem solving.

Main Missions:
- Work with Manufacturing to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Responsible for the management of projects, including technical, cost and timing aspects.
- Create, maintain and archive project files
- Provide expertise assistance to the production for all process issues.
- Supervise process for prototypes and production tooling and parts.
- Work with Quality Department in setting Quality standards and work instructions.
- Work in collaboration with the Quality department to insure compliance with TS16949 and ISO 14000 systems.
- Key resource for product defect trouble shooting efforts.
- Participate in training program as trainer.

Preferred qualifications include:
- 2 year technical degree or bachelors degree.
- 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment,
- Plastics Technologies experience
- Experience with injection molding, blow molding, or extrusion.
- Experience in Project Management for the Automotive Industry
- Good knowledge of problem analysis and solving as well as continuous improvement tools
- Basic knowledge of PLC & Electrical Controls and systems
- Read & understand electrical & hydraulic diagrams
- Read & understand part drawings & tooling drawings
- Basic knowledge of CAD system use is a plus
