Aerotek Commercial Services is currently screening candidates for a contract to hire or direct placement position with a company that has turned things around quickly. The past two years this company has been a teir 1 injection molding manufacturer for automotive companies such as Ford. They produce injection molding Class A parts for door saches and vehicle interiors. Currently they are going through a launch for the new Lincoln, made at Ford Assembly Plant.
They are looking for a good maintenance tech with experience maintaining all plant equipment, including robotics (Fanuc 6 axis robots, ABB 6 axis robots and Sepro, Star, and Wittmann cartesian style robots) and Injection Molding Machines (Toshiba, Husky, Haitian, Cincinnati, and Van Dorn IMM).
They recently hired a new maintenance manager who has really turned things around. They have nearly all the pieces of the puzzle in place and are now looking for 1 more technician for 2nd shift.
Urgency is of the utmost importance in the Automotive realm, when a machine is shut down, production stops and when production stops it stops delivery to Ford which can get very expensive. They will also perform facilty maintenance and basic PM. This person will need to be able to troubleshoot PLCs (allen bradley) and read electrical/hydraulic schematics in order totroubleshoot them.
