Manufacturer is seeking a Maintenance Technician for their production floor. This position will be responsible for maintaining production equipment which includes automated assembly and robotics. Must have good electrical and mechanical troubleshooting (only pneumatics, no hydraulic experience required). Position will be responsible for troubleshooting relays in panels and be able to troubleshoot Allen Bradley RS500 or RS5000 PLCs by changing or troubleshooting sensors.
Manufacturer does mostly electronics. This is a very good work environment with very clean equipment and climate-controlled atmosphere. Most equipment is automated.
Preferred Qualifications:
-2-5 yrs industrial maintneance background OR 2 yr technical degree in related subject (i.e. Industrial Maintneance or Electronics Associates)
-Knowledgeable with PLCs and/or ladder logic (must be able to troubleshoot - no programming required)
-Strong electrical (up to 220V mostly troubleshooting relays in panels) and mechanical (repairing/replacing valves and high pressure test units or resetting jaws on robot - pneumatic knowledge)
