Restaurant Equipment Maintenance Technician (Auburn)
About us: We are a growing business repairing and maintaining a variety of commercial kitchen equipment in Georgia.
Experience in the food service maintenance and/or general maintenance industry is a plus, but not a requirement. We are looking for a hands-on problem solver who enjoys a challenge. We are willing to train the right candidate to join our expanding team of field technicians.
Position pays hourly.
Starting Salary for entry level technicians is $15 per hour with opportunity for advancement.
Starting Salary for experienced technicians is based on experience.
Part-time and full-time positions are available.
Job Description:
Once trained, service technician will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of appliances in commercial settings. We service a wide range of commercial restaurant equipment, from high speed ovens to espresso machines. Technician will be expected to provide timely and quality repairs of customers' products while maintaining our company's high levels of customer service. We provide a service vehicle, all necessary tools and uniform shirt. We also provide initial as well as periodic training.
Duties:
- Work as a dedicated team member to ensure fast, flexible and expert service to every customer
- Must have ability to maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor when faced with demanding customers
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency to meet customer time commitments
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently while not under direct supervision
- Provide knowledgeable and courteous repair service
- Valid driver's license with a clear driving record.
- Rotating weekend and some holiday hours will be required.
- Applicant must be willing and able to drive up to several hundred miles in a day.
- All candidates must successfully complete a background check, MVR check, reference check as well as drug and nicotine testing.
- Meet physical requirements generally associated with field service repair (lifting 50lbs or more, bending, etc.).
- Excellent communication, organization and customer service skills.
