Job: Industrial Assembly Position, doing final assembly and completion of high end, custom livestock and grain trailers. Direct hire position, FT with benefits

Hours:

First shift, M-F with some OT and Saturdays as required.

Benefits:

Job Description:

Looking for energetic individuals who want to start a long term career with a company that has 60+ years in the semi-trailer manufacturing industry. Job is doing final assembly on highly customized trailers.

Skills Required:

  • Accurate use of measuring tools/tape measure
  • Experience/comfortable with hair and air tools, drills, circular saw, grinders, cut off wheels, ban saw, jacks.
  • Must be a mechanically inclined and have actually worked with your hands/done some sort of mechanical work in the recent past.
  • Great attention to detail since this is the final piece of the manufacturing process before product goes out the door
  • Must take pride in your work, and continually look for ways to increase quality and productivity of your work.
  • Maintain quality standards set by the company
  • Maintain efficiency standards in a fast paces production/manufacturing environment
  • Read and write English to understand production orders and follow production procedures with little supervision
  • Math Skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • ***These skills are not required but blueprint reading, DC electrical wiring, aluminum welding, or experience with trailer air systems would be a plus. Candidates with some/all of these skills will be considered at a higher starting wage.

    Job Duties:

  • This is a physical job that requires you to hustle, move quickly, be on your feet all day, climb in trailers, up ladders, and on top of trailers.
  • Must be capable of accurate time tracking to adhere to production schedules
  • 50 lb. lift requirement
  • Shooting & bucking of industrial rivets
  • Use of industrial fasteners and specialty pneumatic tools
  • Installing trim, lighting, mud flaps, decals
  • Completing trailer brake adjustments, doing trailer axle & wheel alignments, oiling axle hubs
  • Cleaning out trailers, caulking the inside trailers.
  • Focus on safety above all, and maintain a clean work environment

  • Within the first month you will be required to build up you own hand tool box.

  • Willingness to submit to random drug screening
