Remedy Intelligent Staffing is seeking a qualified TIG Welders for our valued client on the east side of Madison. We currently have openings on all shifts: 1st (6 am to 2:30 pm), 2nd (2 pm to 10:30 pm) and 3rd (10 pm to 6: 30 am). We will consider recent graduates with a Welding Degree or Certificate. Candidates must have TIG Welding experience and be able to pass a weld test.
Summary:
TIG (GTAW) welding, fitting and erection of stainless steel sheet metal sections and some light structural work. Layout, erection and stainless steel welding experience along with the ability to read prints is a must.
Responsibilities:
• Weld components and complete fabrications using appropriate TIG welding techniques
• Erection of stainless steel and carbon steel sections using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld pieces
• Set-up and measure assemblies; select appropriate method
• Analyze work orders and completed assemblies
• Read and interpret blueprints
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 6 months of TIG welding experience or relevant schooling
• Ability to pass a weld test
• Excellent attendance record
