POSITION DESCRIPTION, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary duties will be to answer incoming calls from members and providers and deliver superior customer service satisfaction by providing accurate and timely resolution to inquiries or concerns and to ensure that all information concerning call resolution is properly documented. This position must adhere to all company, federal and state regulations concerning rights to privacy. Specific duties will include: * Answer incoming calls from Healthcare plan members and providers in assisting the member with making the best informed choice regarding their healthcare. * Utilize Windows and web based applications to provide accurate information to customers on all calls. * Use superior customer service skills to give effective and efficient resolution to customer inquiries on all calls. * Use conflict resolution skills to handle escalated issues to achieve satisfactory resolution with patience and empathy. * Complete entries on specific reasons for calls, and resolutions achieved, into internal file database on all calls with great attention to detail. * Maintain confidences and meet company, federal and state guidelines on Customer's right to privacy. * Completes special projects as assigned. * Other administrative duties as assigned. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK 7 DAYS A WEEK TO WORK A SCHEDULE BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7 AM AND 10 PM CST. * Insurance background and Medicare Advantage knowledge a definite plus. * Provider billing experience a plus. * Able to meet or exceed the company's minimum standards for phone metrics, call resolution, customer satisfaction, quality and schedule adherence. * Able to multitask and utilize multiple software screens efficiently and effectively. * Strong computer skills. * Strong work ethic. www.directch.com/mpnashvillems
