DISH ONE Satellite is an owned and operated sales and marketing channel for DISH Network L.L.C., a Fortune 200 company. This position is responsible for the Business Analysis and Project Management. The IT team is responsible for design, develop, test, enhance, document, and support applications and websites through database design and development as requested by the organization and will assist in maintaining said products, and other corporate initiatives. The BA/PM position will be support items like documentation, requirements gathering, project management of internal and 3rd parties.
A successful Staff Accountant will have the following:
- 1-2 years of Project Management Experience; strong business, analytical, communication skills
- Excellent facilitation skills, very strong follow through abilities and strong ownership of projects and issues; ability to drive teams to resolutions and delivery
- Ability/experience to recommend solutions to issues and risks
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or three years related experience and/or training; and two plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in MS Office Suite; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate with all levels of the organization
- Well-developed oral and written presentation skills; ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable and easy-to-follow presentation materials
Primary Responsibilities fall into the following categories:
- Provides operational support for ongoing development and process improvement initiatives.
- Develops reporting, communicating the direction, significant milestones, and results as well as plans and coordinates the administration of new processes and plans.
- Researches and recommends new r enhancements to existing programs.
- Build relationships within internal and 3rd party teams, and successfully work across departments to coordinate and communicate with various groups and key players.
- Manage resources assigned to projects in regards to project efforts; create project plans and project schedules; provide project management leadership from inception through deployment.
- Communicate, negotiate, and manage the scope of the assigned project to ensure that expectations are set concerning the project’s deliverables, timeline, and costs.
