Our Field Recruiter plays a critical role to the success of our In-Home Services Operations team by proactively developing a pipeline of the country's best prospects to join the DISH team. Additionally, you will have full cycle recruiting authority across a large geographic area.
A successful Field Recruiter will have the following:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and 2 years+ recruiting / HR experience.
- Solid knowledge of local, state and federal laws governing recruiting and employment issues.
- Must have solid knowledge of recruitment and selection techniques and requirements of the federal Selection Guidelines and the Americans with Disabilities Acts and possess strong interviewing skills.
- Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff.
- Competencies include excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
- Requires high level computer expertise, including use of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications.
- Flexible, innovative in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment.
The Field Recruiter's primary responsibilities are to support DISH Network's In-Home Services recruiting team:
- Consults with Regional Recruiter and Regional Director to determine recruiting priorities.
- Directly sources and screens applicants for field based roles.
- Conducts data analysis on regional recruiting metrics including cost per hire, applicant flow analysis, time to fill, labor pool availability, and other related items.
- Participates in the regional recruiting meetings, providing detailed information on recruiting efforts and progress.
- Plans, coordinates, and attends job fairs, networking events, and association meetings.
- Maintains excellent relationships with both direct business partners and peripheral departments that interact with direct support groups (i.e. Training, HRIS, Field Human Resources, etc.).
