A successful Human Resources Business Partner will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university, Master's degree preferred.
  • 5 years of direct HR experience preferably supporting a total employee population over 300
  • Professional in Human Resources or comparable HR certification preferred. Solid knowledge of local, state and federal laws governing recruiting and employment issues.
  • Solid knowledge of recruitment and selection techniques and requirements of the federal Selection Guidelines and the Americans with Disabilities Acts and possess strong interviewing skills.
  • Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff, including executives.
  • Competencies include excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
  • Requires high level computer expertise, including use of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications.
  • Flexible, innovative in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment.
