As
the Supervisor of Training Delivery, you will be responsible for the
coordination and accountability of a talented team of trainers in OptumRx
Learning Services. The training staff facilitates new hire and ongoing training,
including systems and soft skills, within OptumRx. This is an excellent
opportunity to effectively lead part of an award winning training organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Establishes team priorities to meet established objectives
- Develops short and long term goals for department and team
- Plans and schedules training classes
- Manages special projects for the department
- Attends meetings as a representative of the Learning Services department
- Maintains positive relationships with internal and external clients
- Demonstrates great depth of knowledge/skills in training
- Challenges training staff to grow and develop
- Identifies proactive solutions to non-standard requests
- Solves moderately complex problems independently
- Works with virtual leadership and training teams effectively
Requirements
Required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's
degree or HS diploma/GED with 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience - 3+
years of supervisory/leadership experience - 3+
years experience working in an adult learning/development environment - Current
proficiency with Microsoft: Excel (sorting, filtering, create and edit
spreadsheets); Word (use of tables) and PowerPoint (create and edit); Outlook
(calendaring and email)
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Experience
training in a virtual environment (WebEx) - Bachelor's
Degree desired - Pharmacy
Technicians License - Instructional
design experience - Ability
to use a variety of learning/training concepts and principles along with
knowledge of adult learning - Solid
project and time management skills - Employee
(trainer) development experience - Excellent one-on-one and group presentation and facilitation skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal
skills and relationship building - Commitment to quality, responsibility, high work standards, and initiatives
- Proficient with SharePoint
