Job Description: Technical Writer to develop, edit, and deliver Maintenance Technical manuals to support the US Navy Triton UAS program. Successful candidate will support the creation of digital technical manuals, using tools conforming to government standards & specifications. Candidate will use experience, analysis or interpretation of engineering source data, and conduct customer reviews for the development, validation/verification, and delivery of technical data. The position is performed in a fast paced development environment within a small team. Work Environment: Working in Sierra Vista at secure facility Qualifications: 1. Proficient in use of Arbortext Epic Editor software
2. Experience with technical standards, ability to read or interpret engineering drawings, excellent oral and written communication skills
3. Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
4. Knowledge of maintenance/sustainment activities
5. Knowledge of avionics hardware, software, electronic controls and displays, Communications/Radar, and aircraft systems, at the Organizational, Intermediate and Depot maintenance levels
6. Demonstrate general understanding and be able to apply the technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques related to Logistics disciplines to include Product Support and Technical Documentation use and development
7. Demonstrated technical knowledge, understanding of use, and ability to interpret engineering and source technical data to develop maintenance support requirements and supply/spare support requirements
8. Demonstrate the ability to evaluate technical problems/issues and develop technical solutions in accordance with product and customer specifications
9. Familiarity with AS 9100 Aerospace Standard is a plus
10. Must have or be able to obtain a Secret DoD Clearance
Performance Expectations: Must be able to work well witth team and independently
