Machinist

Aerotek is currently seeking candidates for a Machinist position located in Sparks, NV area. The position is a 90 day contract to hire and pays between $14 - $12 an hour. Work hours are Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and may require overtime. A minimum of 1 year experience setting up and operating CNC Lathes and Mills is required. Candidates will be required to read and understand blueprints. Candidates with experience running lathes and milling machines are urged to apply.

Job duties entail operating lathes, mills, drill presses, and table saws. Machinist will also need to ensure quality control standards are maintained while meeting production schedules. Maintaining the area around the machinery will also be required. Candidates will need to provide their own steel toe boots.
