-Processes orders received from faxes or e-mails
-Confirms account number
-Confirms part# and descriptions
-Confirms pricing
-Checks availability
-Provides customers with information, such as pricing, product information, parts availability, parts number changes, machine promotion, etc. to solve their problems or assist them in making sound decisions and achieve customer satisfaction
-Coordinates with buyers to ensure parts availability
-Alerts manufacturing and purchasing on shortages and large incoming orders
