About this job

The Outbound Customer Service Representative is responsible for obtaining specific documentation needed to close loans from companies or individuals outside of the company. This documentation includes appraisals, payoffs, subordinations, homeowners insurance and employment verifications.

Tasks:

* Sending/assigning orders to vendors in all 50 states.
* Researching information online and internally related to files.
* Obtaining the status/ETA of vendor docs.
* Contacting/utilizing resources, online and otherwise, to obtain information in order to complete an order.
* Creating/maintaining relationships with vendors for on time delivery, reliable status response and geographic coverage.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* "High level" follow-up, organization and attitude is essential.
* Must have proper phone etiquette, be able to use office equipment (i.e. fax machine, copier, scanner) and be proficient at typing.
* Experience using Microsoft Office is helpful.
* Good listening skills and note taking are a must.
* Must be able to interact with other teams and team members to keep them informed of the status of an order.
* Ability to adapt to change will be key. Our company will evolve as often as needed to meet the needs of clients and that will mean learning new methods, additional software and skills; working with new groups of people; finding new ways to make our process better.
