Dover, DE academic preschool is now interviewing for an experienced teacher for immediate hire. We are looking for dedicated professionals for part-time or full-time hours using our Montessori curriculum to engage and inspire children ages 18 month - 6 years to be lifelong learners! Ideal candidate:
- Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education/Child Development. Completion of TECE I & II Certification will also be considered with accompanying experience.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a licensed classroom, daycare or other early childcare facility.
- Comfort in communicating effectively with parents and prospective parents, in addition to being able to positively contribute as an effective team with other staff.
- Be passionate about education, display a positive can-do attitude and set the best possible example for our children to learn from.
- Prior experience or knowledge of the Montessori learning style is a plus, and Montessori Certification is strongly considered.
- Must be able to pass criminal and background checks.
