Maintenance Mechanic - Machine Maintenance, Repair, Service

PrideStaff is seeking an experienced Mechanic in the Salt Lake City area.


The successful candidate will:

• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on plant equipment
• Ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally and report issues to management
• Install equipment in the plant as necessary
• Maintain continuous production operations
• Keeps an inventory of all machine parts and maintenance supplies
• Log machine history
• Troubleshooting

Reliability and an excellent attendance record are a must.

Requirements include:

• Repairs and troubleshooting industrial production equipment
• Perform Preventative Maintenance Schedule on Equipment
• Work Safely

• ability to use hand tools, test instruments and maintenance equipment
• ability to use a computer
• ability to follow written, verbal, diagram instructions or blueprints and
• read schematic diagrams
• excellent verbal communication skills
• legible handwriting to record information
• ability to: plan, prioritize and organize work effectively

Experience with hydraulics and Forklift is a huge plus

Education and/or Experience

high school diploma or equivalency; 2+ years of experience in an maintenance related field in a manufacturing environment
