Plant Engineer

Job Description: This position is responsible for the industrial engineering aspects of the plant including the some of the maintenance/programming of the PLC controllers that operate the plant machinery.Define and interpret equipment specifications for maintenance, repair, and/or purchase.The right candidate will have Robotic training or an interest in learning Robotics.Siemens 7 type controllers are a preferred skillset, but general knowledge of control engineering is required.Experience with industrial power and manufacturing techniques is a requirement of this position.Candidate should be highly skilled in the areas of electricity, PLC programming and industrial robotics either thru education or experience.A desire to work in the automotive industry is desired.D/V/M/STD/L401K program This position is located in North East Alabama and is in the automotive industry.Qualified Candidates should send their resumes to APSTechnicalServices@apstemps.com
