JOB TITLE: Key Account ManagerREPORTING TO: Business Unit ManagerTASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESUnder the supervision of the Off Road Business Unit North America Manager, the incumbent will have the responsibility to maintain and develop customers for the specific Off Road Business Unit for the North-American market.TASKS DESCRIPTION Acquire new customer accounts and business; Support and provide operational & strategic planning for the specific customer area and region; Keep and extend business with existing customers; Establish and build effective and productive relationships with customers; Evaluate and document partnership, ensuring all activities are recorded accurately in our database; Maximize profits; Assist with the preparation of contractual agreements and ensure that these are fully adhered to; Build and develop relationships with corporate contacts; Prepare presentations, proposals, plans, contact reports as necessary; Working with the Project Manager, devise a detailed tailored plan that maximizes income in short and long term; Support the Application Engineer toward the realization of projects; Effectively solve problems and manage risk to ensure achievement of targets; Provide reports and analysis as required; Input creative solutions to maximize opportunity; Maximize opportunities which help our company to achieve its core objectives.LEVEL OF AUTHORITYMay make all decisions related to his/her function, all in accordance with the directives of the Off Road Business Unit North America Manager.JOB REQUIREMENTSPERSONAL SKILLS Negotiation skills, analytical conceptual strength with a strict implementation orientation; Success oriented, flexible, positive thinking, self-motivated, resilience and strong enthusiasm; Strategic thinker, highly organized and able to work autonomously as required; High social and intercultural competence; Willingness to travel 50% of his/her time.EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Engineering degree successfully completed (mechanical and/or industrial engineering) or equivalent technical background; 5+ years of proven success in OEM direct Sales/Account Management, preferably in agricultural, construction or related off road industries; Experience in hydraulic component/system technology is preferred.SPECIFICATIONSWORKING ENVIRONMENTClerical. 50% of working time devoted to Travel.Relocation - negotiable.NUMBER OF HOURS PER WEEK REQUIRED?
