Accountant

Client in South Fresno is seeking an accountant with agricultural experience, general ledger journal entries, accounts receivable, accounts payable. Software: Datatech; Requirement: Bilingual (Fluent Spanish);

Preferred: Four year degree in Accounting/Finance

Responsible for month-end closing and account reconciliations to ensure that company financials are maintained and reported in a timely and accurate manner

Daily processing of subsidiary ledger and general ledger

Prepare and approve monthly accounting entries for the farming operations. Assist the CFO with accounting issues and requests.

Create and Review invoices of grower settlements and sales commissions, including yields, the details of products sold, quantity or price reductions, grower charges, and other details affecting settlements.

Create net income settlements for individual or multiple growers. Manage multiple settlements

Review charges for any services provided and expenses incurred such as chemicals, hauling, fuel, pesticides, etc.

Submit grower payment request.

Responsible for working with AP and all outstanding grower payables.

Submit, copy and distribute weekly and period end grower reports.
