Kitchen Staff - Full-time / Part-time

Genghis Grill is the fastest growing build-your-own stir-fry chain in the United States. We are well known for our fresh, hot and healthy food, and for our fun style of service. We are currently seeking enthusiastic, team oriented individuals who share our passion for hospitality.

Essential Functions:

• Performs dishwashing responsibilities, which require that silverware, dishware, pots and pans, etc., be cleaned to sanitation requirements and to ensure guest satisfaction
• Maintains the dish machines and dishwashing area within sanitation guidelines
• Reports needed repairs to the Culinary Manager or Assistant
• Assists with basic food preparation when needed
• Assists with food deliveries as directed by the supervisor and cleans and maintains coolers, warmers and equipment
• Seeks to develop capabilities in the area of basic food preparation
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• A self-starter
• Demonstrates the ability to perform high quality work
• Seeks to develop capabilities in the area of basic food preparation
• Great people service skills, with the ability to provide service and streamline processes without compromising the integrity of the department aad policies and procedures
• Basic culinary coursework or equivalent experience desired
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Regular, timely attendance
• Must demonstrate competency in reading and writing
• Must demonstrate ability to learn menus and recipes
• Must demonstrate proficiency in handling large sums of money in a self-banking environment
• Must demonstrate ability to multi-task, i.e., handle several tables at once while maintaining interactions between the restaurant and kitchen.
