Material Operator

Manpower has immediate openings in GROVELAND, FL for a MATERIAL OPERATOR for a successful manufacturing Client of ours who specializes in Lawn and Garden products. Then we need you!!. Come share your skills, focus and passion with a growing team. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of manufacturing experience within the last 2 years. Must have attention to detail and have the ability to operate in a team environment. Forklift experience is a plus! Employer conducts drug screening, background and reference checks. Job Responsibilities: Coordinates with the Material Handler and Heavy Equipment Operator which material will be used for each machine. Ensures the shakers are filled to keep the flow of material to the production lines. Ensures the correct roll stock or vfold packaging is being used and places it on the machine. Performs quality checks including weighing and volume checks. Communicates with foreman as to proper operation of equipment. Performs housekeeping duties to insure the material does not accumulate under the conveyors, aisle ways and cat-walks by following safety practices to avoid injuries. Completes production documentation insuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness. Work Schedule: 3pm-11:30pm *Client has a non-smoking environment. If interested and qualified, click: Apply!
