Summary
The Server's role is to provide excellent customer service at all times, making the Guest the heart and passion of all they do. This includes friendly and timely interaction with Guests, suggestive selling, answering questions, taking and delivering the Guests' order and following up to ensure each Guest receives their correct food and/or drink order.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Present the menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service.
• Write order on check or memorize it.
• Garnish and decorate dishes preparatory to serving and is the last quality check on food.
• Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and determine when meal has been completed.
• Totals bill accepts payment following established guidelines.
• Know all specials on a shift by shift basis as well as all liquor, beer, and wine products and all menu items and desserts.
• Pre-bus other tables as well as your own. This includes dirty plates, glass-ware, condiments, trash, ashtrays and flatware.
• Assist the hosts at the door with seating when not otherwise busy. Always watches for guests at the front door, as they are the priority.
• Follow the safety rules provided in the Safety Program found in the employee Orientation Manual.
• Responsible service of alcoholic beverages is mandatory. Never serves a guest who appears intoxicated of under the legal age.
• Complete other duties as assigned in support of the business.

Requirements
Qualifications
• Must have experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with Team Members, Managers, and Guests
• Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and a point of sale system
• Ability to stand, walk, talk, hear and taste or smell throughout the entire shift.
• Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and may exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
• Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds, frequently lifts up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
