Design Release Engineer

Looking for a Design Release Engineer (Direct Hire) to help support work at an OEM. manufactures customized, performance products for wireless and other advanced electronics applications. Antenna solutions, wireless radios, I/O circutry, cellular, GPS, Satelite Digital Audio Radio Systems, HD Radio, and other applications. Possible travel to Canada GM plants less than 25% of the time. 1-2 day trips Responsible for attending design review meetings, technical support, provide design solutions when problems arise, work with internal design team to present solutions, help drive prototype, tool build, and initial production to meet GM timelines. Responsible for final release documentation. Manage and coordinate activities between departments to meet product development requirements. On average responsible for 9-10 components being released on different platforms.
