About this job

This candidate will supervise, establish and coordinate the production schedules and designs, as well as implements the proper replenishment strategies for each customers for a manufacturing company in Indianapolis.

Will also monitor and create schedules for the production floor between departments. Coordinate and follow up with outside suppliers to meet due dates. Supervise all customer service activities and is the primary communication between the office, production floor and plant manager.

WILL NOT manage the production floor, will work in unison with production managers on schedules and then production managers will push the floor to produce.

Manage Kanban and MRP Scheduling system (JD Edwards)
Measure track and report KPI's for the scheduling.
Provide capacity plans to Plant Manager
Directly manages customer service team

This company is a large scale steel fabricating operation. Very clean for the type product that is produced. There is also a large office on the front side of the building that this person will sit out of. This company has a very strong benefits package and company culture. Qualifications:

Best candidate will have 4 year degree, 5+ years of experience in a related industry scheduling/planning and have helped build a newer program as this is a newly created position based on positive growth

Disqualifications: no degree or scheduling experience
