Primary Responsibilities:
  • Apply knowledge/skills to a range of moderately complex activities. 
  • Demonstrate great depth of knowledge/skills in own function.
  • Sometimes act as a technical resource to others in own function.
  • Proactively identify solutions to non-standard requests. 
  • Solve moderately complex problems on own.
  • Work with team to solve complex problems.
  • Plan, prioritize, organize, and complete work to meet established objectives.
  • May coordinate work of other team members. 
  • Experience with MI Facets is a plus.
  • Understanding MI Medicaid policy is a plus
  • Must act in a professional manner as contact will occur with providers (to request medical records)
  • Must be well organized.
  • Extensive work experience within own function.
  • Work is frequently completed without established procedures.
  • Work independently.
  • May act as a resource for others. 
  • May coordinate others' activities.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 2+ years of previous experience in the Healthcare Industry (preferably within Claims, Auditing, or Provider Support).
  • 1+ year experience with Claims Processing systems (i.e. Facets, Cosmos, UNET, etc.).
  • Previous experience conducting Research and Analysis with Claims and Recovery.
  • Previous experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Previous experience working with Microsoft Access.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Previous experience with Facets and MACESS.
  • Knowledge of CSHCS.
