Life Skills Trainer

NeuroRestorative Virginia provides a continuum of care, clinical treatment and behavior management services for adults with brain injury or other neurological challenges. NeuroRestorative Virginia provides a variety of community-based, inpatient treatment programs located in Blacksburg and Weyers Cave. In addition, through a partnership with Virginia NeuroCare, services and supports for active duty service members and veterans are provided in Charlottesville.

NeuroRestorative-VA is seeking Life Skills Trainers to provide training, assistance and supervision to MENTOR ABI Group participants in the areas of living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other forms of assistance in both residential & community settings. Assists with medical supervision. Facilitates working relationships between community employers and MENTOR ABI Group participants. Cooperate with MENTOR ABI and any state Department of Human Service staff in any inspection or investigation.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Six months to one year of experience in the human services industry preferred
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence
