PrideStaff Financial, a specialized Accounting and Financial Staffing Firm, is seeking a Medical Biller for a local client. Pay is based on experience. Up to $15.00/hour! This is a temp-to-hire position .



Medical Biller – Modesto & Turlock Area

Job Description:

As the Medical Biller you will work closely with the other Medical departments. As the Medical Biller you will be tasked with the following daily but not limited to:

Performs all billing duties to include verification of eligibility and benefits via phone and/or online

Submits and obtains authorization from commercial and government insurance carriers

Prepares clean claims based on specific insurance requirements and guidelines

Orders products and communicates benefit information with outside representatives

Contact patients to obtain correct insurance information

Work various reports provided by team supervisor

Insurance includes: Medicare, Medi-Cal, HMO, PPO’s, workers comp, and private

Billing includes: surgical, orthopedic, durable medical equipment, and rehabilitation

Job Requirements:

2+ year of experience in a medical billing capacity

Strong knowledge of Medi-Cal, HMO, PPO’s, workers comp, Medicare, and private insurance

Customer service oriented

Ability to multi-task

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Type at least 50 wpm +

Data Entry 12,000 kph +
