Accounting Clerk – Modesto


PrideStaff Financial, a specialized Accounting and Financial staffing firm, is seeking an Accounting Clerk for a local well-established Modesto client. The Accounting Clerk position is temp-to-hire with pay starting at $14.00/hour!

Accounting Clerk – Modesto

Job Responsibilities:

As the Accounting Clerk you will report to the Accounting Manager and be the back up to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable department. As the Accounting Clerk you will be tasked with the following daily but not limited to:

Opening and sorting of all incoming mail – while separating invoices to the various department heads.

Auditing all Invoices received for accuracy of coding and allocation while entering them into the accounting system.

Batching and matching all the invoices/remittances for payments weekly.

Coding and posting checks into the system.

Back up to the Accounts Payable

Back up to the Accounts Receivable

Taking calls from customers and researching questions

Accounting Clerk – Modesto



Job Requirements:

2 year Associates in Accounting/Finance +

3+ years’ experience as an Accounting Clerk

10,000 kph+ 10-key data entry

Typing 50 wpm+

Strong Excel knowledge

Experience with QuickBooks
