Primary Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with internal and external business partners to gain understanding of their business needs and adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges

  • Lead and Develop People ? manage professional employees by setting team direction, resolving problems and providing guidance to members of your team

  • Leverage diversity and inclusion to drive employee engagement and foster teamwork and collaboration

  • Demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior by complying with applicable laws, regulations and policies and requiring the same from others

  • Manage and ensure compliance with IT structures/processes/technologies

  • Maintain knowledge of and leverage IT industry/marketplace technologies and trends

  • Influence or provide input to forecasting and planning activities

Requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelors degree or higher level of education or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years of application development (or support) experience in a large enterprise environment

  • 2+ years of experience leading teams and/or managing workloads for team members

  • Prior experiences leading distributed teams

  • Ability and willingness to hold on-call responsibilities to respond to system issues 24x7x365

  • Prior experience leading development and/or support for large, critical applications (preferably on multiple platforms)

  • 2+ years of experience with: Java, Websphere, MQ, Oracle, TWS or other scheduling system, SQL server

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Previous experience managing a remote team of resources including offshore team members

  • VB .Net experience

  • Previous budgeting experience

  • Previous Healthcare industry experience

  • Knowledge of SSIS

  • Sybase experience

  • Service Management Tools (HPSM, BSM, HP Perf Mgr, ALM, Clarity)

  • Ability to work closely with the business partners and the development teams

  • Knowledge of commissions based systems
