Position Description:
The goal of the Retail host is to drive frequency of visits or spend per visit for retail guests by ensuring that all retail guests are extremely satisfied throughout their experience. The Retail Host will constantly exceed guest expectations by proactively anticipating their needs and offering experience opportunities and incentives.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

  • Work with management team to create and track contests and incentives to motivate staff
  • Maintain accurate tracking of any products or services given to incentivize or reward guests
  • Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of all retail areas
  • Ensure all retail areas are setup for the best guest experience, i.e. appropriate music, lighting levels and video content
  • Create a personal connection with the retail guests to ensure that all guest needs are exceeded
  • Oversee service of retail food and beverage with assistance of management
  • Assist with programming names, explaining safety precautions, and any other bowling related functions
  • Ensure guests leave eager to return and always extend a friendly farewell
  • Drive company initiatives such as promotions, email contact list collection or loyalty program

Job Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work a variety of day, night, and weekend shifts
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work under pressure while multitasking
  • Extremely friendly
  • Must be able to read, write, and have strong communication skills in the English language
  • Must possess a positive service orientated attitude towards all guests and employees
  • Must be able to move around the venue quickly and easily
  • Must be able to stand and exert fast paced mobility for at least six (6) hours in length
  • Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to teammates and guests, occasionally in a loud environment
  • Must have the ability to bend and lift objects frequently weighing up to thirty (30) pounds
