Positions in this function conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning. They support short and long term operational/strategic business activities - by developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models. They also develop and implement effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes.

Typical Day:

This person will participate in or facilitate project meetings and support communicating overall project scope working with Business and IT. They will schedule and lead collaborative discussions to obtain necessary information needed to document as Is/To Be Work flows and gather business requirements. This person will also participate in solution analysis and design meetings for system enhancements or migrations. They will also support development of criteria for User Acceptance Testing and apply quality assurance measures to obtain desired results.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Define and document/communicate business requirements 
  • Develop and document medium to high complexity business workflows 
  • Analyze scope and resolution of medium to large size Operations Management (OM) and development requests 
  • Provide clear description of problems / issues for medium to high complexity problems 
  • Present options for problem resolution 
  • Contribute in developing organizational functional knowledge 
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in his/her chosen functional / application area 
  • Assist in estimation of small to medium size work effort 
  • Establish and manage overall project plans for small to medium size efforts 
  • Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them 
  • Serves as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues 
  • Solves complex problems and develops innovative solutions 
  • Performs complex conceptual analyses 
  • Reviews work performed by others and provides recommendations for improvement 
  • Forecasts and plans resource requirements 
  • Authorizes deviations from standards 
  • May lead functional or segment teams or projects.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years experience in analysis, gathering and documenting Business requirements documentation
  • 4+ years experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio and PowerPoint)
  • Experience supporting solution analysis and design meetings
  • Experience supporting development of criteria for User Acceptance Testing
  • Bachelor's Degree or HS diploma/GED with 4+ years of equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a Project Leadership role
  • Experience in the Health Care Industry - Behavioral Health / Claims knowledge (health care delivery) 
  • RSA level 2 certification (can be completed within 2 months of hire date)
  • Experience in Microsoft SharePoint
  • Web Ex presentation skills
