About this job



Our customer located in the Madison Al area is hiring for a recruiting specialist. The recruiting specialist is responsible for providing expert staffing services to HR department managers and department heads. This individual will provide full-lifecycle recruiting support, deliver high-quality, professional candidates, and maintain excellent relationships while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process. A high-level of creativity, business understanding, and personal organization is required.

Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional client service to hiring managers and department leadership.
Conduct interviews to recruit prospective employees and refer job applicants to specific job openings.
Well versed in sourcing for passive qualified candidates through all aspects of social recruiting.
Evaluates employment factors such as job experience, education, training, skills, knowledge and abilities, and other data pertinent to determine if candidate meets job qualifications.
Makes recommendations on starting salaries, and provides applicants with information on the company, benefits and organization structure.
Administer reference checks, arrange interviews with hiring manager, extend formal job offers.
Administer, monitor, coordinate, maintain and ensure compliance with areas that may include affirmative action, anti-discrimination, as well as all federal and state laws and regulations.

Using a variety of methods (including data mining of the internet, cold calling, online databases, social media, internal database, employee referrals, and career fairs) source candidates that meet the target profile, using screening techniques to reduce the candidate pool. .

Evaluate candidate job experience, education, skills, training, organizational fit, and future potential.

Understand candidate motivations to influence candidate decision making; including clearly communicating company benefits and resolves any candidates questions.

Recommend top candidates to hiring manager based on objective criteria used in the evaluation process.

Manage assigned jobs/folders in applicant tracking system ensuring all applicants are moved correctly and in a timely manner.

Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline required.
Minimum 3 years experience in full life-cycle recruiting including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, job analysis, wage and job trends, preferably in customer service industry.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Strong initiatives and solid judgment abilities/skills.
