Automation is currently looking for several temp to perm machine operators that can run a simple lathe used to polish mud rotors. This position is for 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift!
Must be able to:
o Read a micrometer and pass a micrometer test.
o Must take and pass drug test and background screening.
o Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
o Must be able to explain what a lathe is and what it does.
Lathe: A Machine for shaping wood, metal or other material by means of a rotating drive that turns the piece being worked against changeable cutting tools.
Mud Motor Rotors: A mud motor (or drilling motor) is a progressive cavity positive displacement pump (PCPD) placed in the drill string to provide additional power to the bit while drilling.
Job Requirements:
? Read a micrometer and pass a micrometer test.
? Must take and pass drug test and background screening.
? Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
? Must be able to explain what a lathe is and what it does.
