SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Automotive Technician repairs and overhauls automotive brake systems and other necessary maintenance and repairs in customer vehicles utilizing AMRA/MAP Uniform Inspection and Communication Standards. This position additionally assists the Shop and Center Manager in their duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Must own the minimum required hand tools for this position with reasonable progress made at acquiring additional tools as the employee advances in skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add and subtract in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and compute rate, ratio, and percent.
• Must have dependable transportation to work.
