The SPANX Field Sales Specialist represents SPANX as a brand ambassador and demonstrates high standards of execution on all SPANX initiatives in order to ultimately grow retail sales in the SPANX wholesale environment.

The Specialist collaborates with the SPANX Regional Field Managers and the store teams of each customer door within their territory of responsibility to ensure that all initiatives are traffic-driving, consumer-relevant, and easily executable.

The Specialist position is an hourly paid contracted position. Required Qualifications:
  • Relevant retail sales experience
  • Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze sales results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc...)
  • Access to computer / email on regular basis
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to travel as needed within designated territory
As a Field Retail Sales Specialist, you will… Customer
  • Track sales performance by customer door and territory
  • Define areas for sales building opportunities by applying an understanding and knowledge of consumer, local, market, and industry trends
  • Win on the floor with strategies for capturing premiere real estate in all departments to keep SPANX top of mind
  • Demonstrate ability to supply and execute creative, out of the box tactics to continuously build awareness and create excitement on the sales floor
  • Ensure all in-store campaigns, visual programs, and on-hand inventory are current
  • Identify and leverage existing in-store activities and events to maximize SPANX presence and ultimately increase SPANX sales
Employee
  • Conduct weekly / monthly / seasonal product knowledge trainings
  • Develop and maintain regular schedule rotation based on business needs
  • Manage and maintain working relationships at all levels of department store structure
  • Educate wholesale partner sales associates on SPANX sales culture
  • Motivate and inspire sales associates to drive SPANX product sales
Financial
  • Demonstrate ownership of the business by tracking daily, weekly and monthly sales and adjusting support and coverage according to the needs of the business
  • Work closely with Regional Field Sales Manager to monitor weekly schedule and hours based on business needs
  • Use business cases to secure approval for special budget needs
  • Measure and communicate all event execution results in relation to costs incurred in order to accurately show effectiveness of spend
Process Excellence
  • Complete all store visit recaps with the appropriate level of detail and in a timely manner
  • Provide ongoing communications on all selling status to ensure management alignment
  • Identify and communicate product and inventory needs in a timely manner
  • Communicate and share best practices for local sales building
