CareMeridian is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform hands-on nursing care to meet the needs of a medically complex patient population.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care for clinically complex patients, including ADLs, taking vital signs, transfers, dressing, meal assistance, as needed.
- Monitors the health and medical condition of individuals served, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintains current progress notes and any other appropriate documentation in accordance with MENTOR policy, program standards or other regulatory requirements.
- Attends trainings and other meetings as required.
- Maintains confidentiality, respects human rights and practices universal precautions in accordance with MENTOR policy.
- Performs other related duties and activities as required.
- Will fill in for Housekeeping position as needed or necessary.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED and one year experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant, preferably with clinically complex individuals in a hospital, LTACH and/or long-term care setting
- Current Certified Nurse Assistant
- CPR/First Aid certifications
- Will fill in for Housekeeping position as needed or necessary
