Cashier

Summary: Sever of high quality food in a fast food restaurant environment. Takes orders and receives payment from guests in exchange for food and beverage by performing the following duties. Part time or full time positions available.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Provides exceptional guest service through friendly and interactive behavior. 
• Computes guest check, itemized lists, and tickets showing amount due. 
• Makes change, processes credit cards, and issues receipts or tickets to customers. 
• Reads and records totals shown on cash register tape and verifies against cash on hand. 
• Describes menu items for which money is received. 
• Maintains dining room cleanliness before, during and after service.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills

• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Aloha POS or Similar Order processing systems and Basic Excel Knowledge or Spreadsheet software.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Must have or obtain within 30 days of employment TIPS Certification or equivalent.
