Responsibilities

The VES Vertical/Channel/Americas Business Sales Associates (VES BSA) supports the VES sales channel teams by assisting with requests sent from both Sales as well as VES Customers. The VES BSA team will help drive key metrics surrounding growth and profitability and will be responsible for the following:

Sales Results: Generates leads and prospects new business as well as creates new service opportunities with the existing customer base.  Carries “paper” quota” for 100% completion of all sales related tasks which are quantifiable.

Customer Retention: Responds to requests for sales support including but not limited to customer education of wireless phones, and wireless programs (i.e. device recycling).  Provides pre-sale and post-sale support. Assists with customer on-sites and attends customer meetings when required.

Training / Meetings:  Continuously update knowledge of wireless products, services and industry trends. Participate in training opportunities on products and services. Develops and coordinate customer trainings, education, and support for wireless solutions through webinars, on-site meetings, and deployments.

Must be able to work with spreadsheets to analyze data, interpret trends, and advise of actions to be taken.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Experience in sales or customer service with business accounts required
  • Strong technical knowledge of VZW products & services
  • Strong cold-calling and lead generation capabilities preferred
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word with special attention to PowerPoint
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Familiarity with billing systems and order entry systems a plus
  • The ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Effective negotiation and closing skills required
