Randstad Position summary:

This is a non-entry level Technical Support in-bound call center role. This role will also handle consumer and dealer inquires and technical issues pertaining to information out of the owner manuals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Answer all incoming phone calls within performance metrics, follow established standard work processes, and achieve a one call resolution.
* Gather and input customer contact and inquiry information quickly and efficiently.
* Handle service dealer level inquiries on manufactured equipment.
* Utilize expanded resources such as service manuals and training to effectively respond to inquiries regarding assembly, operation, maintenance, and general troubleshooting for home users and service dealers.
* Provide assistance to customers inquiries outside the scope of level 1
* Provide warranty authorizations within guideline policy
* Work flexible shift hours and some weekends.
* Responsible for daily activities, such as maintaining an organized and safe work area, and any appropriate paperwork/ check sheets.
* Other duties as assigned
Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
* Self-motivated and possess a strong desire to provide an exceptional customer service experience.
* Willingness to adapt and grow through support and training in a continuous improvement environment.
* Fluent with policies to make informed judgment decisions.
* Excellent customer service skills with a desire to help.
* Technical aptitude with capacity to read and interpret mechanical documentation such as service manuals, service bulletins, and engineering drawings.
* Knowledge of mechanical and operational theories of equipment.
* Basic understanding of hydraulic, electrical, power plant and motion systems.
* Familiar with operation and maintenance of outdoor power equipment such as starting and trouble shooting.
* Use multiple software applications at once while simultaneously navigating through multiple screens.
* Ability to professionally and effectively communicate using verbal and written skills.
* Organizational skills for storing and locating services updates in a timely manner.

Experience/Educational Requirements:
* Must have a high school diploma or GED required. Associate or bachelor's degree a plus.
* 1 to 3 years of work experience
* Customer service experience
