Warehouse Manager Job Duties:

  • Direct receiving, warehousing and distribution services, lead distribution team of 5

  • Manage inventory management database including receipt, recording and delivery of all product received and shipped.

  • Responsible for processing orders, supervision of picking, packing, staging, and shipping of all customer orders.

  • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.

  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

  • Controls inventory levels by conducting cycle counts and once yearly full physical inventory

  • Maintains material handling equipment, issues work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.

  • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.

  • Maintains warehouse staff by selecting, orienting, and training employees.

  • Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing networks; participating in professional societies.

  • Work closely with clients, suppliers and transportation companies.

  • Determine and coordinate the most efficient and cost effective manner to ship product to customers by common carriers, UPS, Fed Ex, etc
