JOB DESCRIPTION

We're currently seeking a Recruiter for a contract opportunity in Richmond, VA with one of the nation's largest producers and transporters of energy. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and experience with an industry leader currently operating the nation's largest natural gas storage system.

Daily Responsibilities Include:

  • Counsel hiring managers on hiring and selection processes, recruiting trends, industry best practices, and diversity
  • Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers
  • Screen and phone interview applicants based on job description and qualifications
  • Work closely with Staffing Administrator to schedule/coordinate interviews
  • Partner with HR Generalists and Hiring Manager to prepare fair and competitive job offers
  • Follow-up with unsuccessful candidates and update applicant tracking system Recruiter must be able build and cultivate strong, long-term relationships with HR, management and prospective candidates role develops, implements and coordinates corporate wide human resources policies, programs and processes in functional specialty and monitors effectiveness to further business objectives and legal requirements.
  • Continues study of functional specialty to keep abreast of current practice and informed of new developments, to identify improvements or changes needed and to alert management to need for action.
  • Educate partners within human resources community on policies and programs and provide guidance to their administration.
  • Recommends cost control measures and long-range strategies that will maintain competitiveness and facilitate achievement of corporate objectives.
  • Perform other duties as requested or assigned.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years full life cycle recruiting experience.
  • Proficient and have proven track record of sourcing, screening, and presenting qualified, diverse candidates
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships
  • Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and work well in a team environment
  • Previous experience utilizing an applicant tracking system is preferred


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • This is a 6+ mth contract position
  • Hours for the position are M-F 8:00 am-5:00 pm
