Food Runner Responsibilities
- Delivers menu items to guests at assigned tables
- Maintains a sense of urgency throughout the shift
- Responds to guest needs immediately
- Ensures menu items meet company standards prior to serving
- Notifies manager on duty of guest issues
- Assists with table maintenance as needed
- Replenishes beverages as needed
- Follows all company service and safety standards and procedures
- Demonstrates knowledge of menu ingredients
- Practices label, date, initial and rotate procedures
- Demonstrates knowledge of table numbers and location
- Communicates effectively with co-workers
- Practices "clean as you go"
- Performs opening, closing and side duties as required
- Attends all scheduled meetings
- Completes any duties or tasks assigned by managers

Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age (18 years of age to run alcoholic beverages)
- Previous job experience not required
- Must have basic reading and mathematical skills and be able to read, speak, write, and understand English
- Attention to detail, strong organizational ability; ability to work under pressure amid distractions and interruptions
- Possess good guest relations abilities, outgoing and friendly, courteous and cooperative attitude, team oriented
- Well-groomed and neat appearance
